The White Stockings expected to play the Union Club, of (St. Louis), to-day but the Unions failed to come on time, even so much as to welcome their opponents. It is said they are broken up. The Atlantics then undertook to measure bat and ball with the visitors.-Chicago Tribune, October 25, 1870
