Harry H. Diddlebock, known in local sporting and newspaper circles, died to-day at his home in (Philadelphia). Mr. Diddlebock was forty-six years of age. His first venture in a baseball line was as manager of the famous old Athletics, and later he served through successive years as president, secretary, and treasurer of the Eastern Baseball League. As a sporting writer he occupied positions in nearly all of the local newspaper offices until 1896, when he removed to St. Louis and assumed the management of the St. Louis baseball team. He returned a year later, and up to his death was on the staff of the Inquirer.-The Washington Post, February 6, 1900
