David Reid's Obituary

David L. Reed, who has been Secretary of the St. Louis "Browns" Baseball Club for several years, died very suddenly at 10 o'clock Saturday night of heart disease. Mr. Reed was a well-known sporting and dramatic writer and had been connected at different times with several leading journals both East and West. His relatives live in this city and his body will probably be brought here for interment.
