Bill Hart

Bill Hart pitched for the Browns in 1896 and 1897, during one of the lowest points in the history of St. Louis baseball. The once-mighty Browns had fallen on hard times and in 1897 would finish with a record of 29-102 and a winning percentage of .221 (a record low for the Browns/Perfectos/Cardinals franchise). Hart, in 1897, would finish with a record of 9-27 and an ERA of 6.26. For his career with the Browns, Hart would win 21 games and lose 56.
