Hodnett, of the St. Louis Unions, arrived home yesterday. He says Pudge Boyle, who has taken Billy Taylor's place, is the best looking man on the team and that, while he is of rather slim build and stands 6 feet high, he weighs no less than 174 pounds.-St. Louis Globe-Democrat, July 12, 1884
