The Dillon Farm

Packy Dillon's farm in Mehlville, which he bought in 1887, was located at what is now the intersection of Dillon Drive and Edwards Road. Who Dillon Drive was named after is a little obvious (even for me). Edwards Road, one would assume, was named after Packy's son, Edward, who worked the Mehlville farm until his death in 1943.

The intersection of Dillon and Edwards is west of Jefferson Barracks and Lemay Ferry Road, south of Reavis Barracks Road, east of Interstate 55 and north of Lindbergh Blvd. In the map below, it's just south of Union Road County Park (follow the link to get the exact location).
