Henry Clay Sexton
I found this picture of Henry Clay Sexton in A Tour Of St. Louis by J. A. Dacus and James Buel. The book was published in 1878 and is available online here.
Dacus and Buel wrote the following about Sexton and the StLFD:

I wonder if H. C. Sexton is related to actor Brent Sexton, a native St. Louisan? There is a resemblance. . .
I can see the resemblance and wouldn't be surprised if they were related somehow. There are a lot of Sexton's in StL, Irish immigrants who arrived here between 1860 and 1880. I wouldn't swear to it but I think that most of them came from Limerick.

Im Joseph Sexton a known descendant Henry Clay Sexton. My father is Henry Clay Sexton V. I do not believe that we are related to Brent Sexton
