I'm updating the links at the moment. If you have anything you think I should link or see something obvious that I've forgotten, let me know.
And it's amazing how many dead links I had in the sidebar. Okay, I probably haven't updated them in a few years and some folks have fallen by the wayside but still.
I should probably do this stuff more often.
Also, I should warn you, the research link section is about to get big.

You won't hear me complain if the research link section is big.
I put some cool stuff in there. Could have put a lot more but a lot of the stuff in my bookmarks is really narrowly focused. I have things like the history of a Civil War naval ship that was once commanded by a former pioneer-era St. Louis baseball player and court records that only briefly mention a ball player. Those things are neat and interesting and I need them. But I don't think it's necessary to share them.
Plus there's some stuff that I'm keeping close to the vest and saving for the book. I have to keep a few secrets.
